Job Title: Seasonal Summer Retail and Farm Assistant Location: Lavender Fields at Pumpkin Blossom Farm in Warner, NH Position Type: would consider Full-Time/Part-Time About Us: Pumpkin Blossom Farm is a three-year young, charming lavender farm located in Warner, NH. We specialize in offering on-site experiences where visitors can immerse themselves in the beauty and tranquility of lavender fields. In addition to our on-site activities, we produce and sell a range of high-quality lavender products, including essential oil sprays, soaps, candles and lavender infused foods and beverages. We are committed to providing a unique experience to our customers. Job Description: We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team at our lavender farm for the summer season. This position is ideal for teachers looking for summer employment. As a seasonal retail and farm assistant, you will be responsible for various tasks including: 1. Retail Sales: Assisting customers in our barn store, checking them out on the register, and providing excellent customer service. 2. Lavender U-Pick: Checking in customers, instructing them on proper picking techniques, and ensuring a positive experience. 3. Farm Work: Assisting with lavender harvesting, planting, weeding, and other farm-related tasks as necessary. 4. Processing Lavender: Bundling and hanging lavender to dry for future use. 5. Food Sales: Assisting with food sales, including preparing and serving simple food items. 6. Supervision: Monitoring and providing guidance to teenage summer employees. Requirements: - Must be 16+ -Must have a calm and welcoming demeanor. - Excellent customer service and communication skills. - Ability to work efficiently and multitask in a fast-paced environment. - Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred. -Must be able to work outside in hot conditions on occasion. - Knowledge or interest in lavender farming is a plus. This is a seasonal position starting in June and ending in August; however we have some flexibility with the exception of July (our busiest month). The work schedule can vary or remain steady if preferred and will include weekends. The hourly rate will be dependent upon experience. Job Title: Social Media & Community Outreach Coordinator Location: Warner, NH Job Type: Full Time Potential, Flexible Hours About Us: Pumpkin Blossom Farm is a destination for all natural lavender products, seasonal events, and immersive farm experiences. We are looking for a dynamic, creative, and technically skilled individual to manage our social media presence, engage with our community, and represent our brand at events and expos. Job Overview: The Social Media & Community Engagement Coordinator will oversee content creation, strategy, and audience engagement across our social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. This role also involves direct community interaction, acting as the “face” of our brand in many cases, and supporting outreach initiatives. Additionally, the position may include assisting with offsite expos and events. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute engaging content strategies and schedules tailored to each platform (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok). Create, edit, and schedule posts, stories, and reels to align with our brand aesthetic and mission to boost engagement with our farm. Monitor and engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely manner. Utilize analytics to track performance, optimize content, and grow our audience. Collaborate with the team to brainstorm new content ideas and collaborate on marketing campaigns. Act as a brand representative during events, both online and in person. Assist with offsite expos, setting up displays, engaging with customers and completing sales while promoting our products and farm experiences. Identify and pursue partnerships or collaborations that align with our brand values and business goals. Qualifications & Skills: Experience managing social media accounts for a brand, business, or personal platform with demonstrated growth and engagement. Strong understanding of content creation, video editing (for reels and TikToks), and graphic design basics. Familiarity with social media analytics tools to track and improve performance. Comfortable being on camera and representing the farm in social media content. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing priorities. Passion for small business, community engagement, and/or agriculture is a plus. This role involves building strong relationships with the public, engaging attendees, and ensuring that our farm's mission and offerings are effectively communicated. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, public interaction, and hands-on event support. Key Responsibilities: Represent Pumpkin Blossom Farm at offsite events, expos, and community engagements. Develop a deep understanding of the farm’s history, products, and values to effectively communicate them to attendees. Set up and manage event displays, ensuring an inviting and well-organized presentation. Engage with the public, answer questions, and provide knowledgeable insights about our farm and products. Coordinate logistics for offsite events, including transportation of materials and setup. Work closely with the farm team to develop outreach strategies and event materials. Foster relationships with community members, businesses, and potential collaborators. Assist with organizing farm-hosted events as needed. Qualifications & Skills: Strong public speaking and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to develop a thorough understanding of our farm’s mission and products. Experience in event coordination, customer service, or community outreach preferred. Ability to work independently and proactively engage with diverse audiences. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks at events. Passion for agriculture, small businesses, and community-driven initiatives.
