Lavender Phenomenal and Sensational
Popular for their silvery foliage and consistent growth with a uniform, mounding habit, Phenomenal and Sensational have an elegant flower presentation and a strong fragrance, perfect for fresh and dried arrangements, oil distilation, and culinary uses. Better yet, these varietals have exceptional winter survival rates, have shown extreme heat and humidity tolerance, and are resistant to pests and common root and foliar diseases.

Plants will come in 'plug" sizes, which are roughly 3 inches tall and are fairly delicate. It's best to plant them in the ground ASAP; lavender thrives when planted in early June.  These plants will need to be planted in as much full sunlight as possible and be given a light watering each night until summer temps level out (you will receive printed instructions on how to care for your plants upon pickup or you can visit our blog).

We have had incredible luck with 'Phenomenal' and 'Sensational' in our fields and they make up the vast majority of our more than 6,500 plants. 
 
The 'Sensational" and 'Phenomenal' lavender varietals are specially cultivated by Peace Tree Farm in Pennsylvania to survive and thrive in New England weather.
